Udemy Course: JavaScript 2018

I am happy to finally publish this blog because I am great at starting things but not the best at finishing them especially not in a timely manner.  This specific post is also going to act as a litmus test / beta test to decide how I will do other Project and Blog posts in the future.  The Course I completed was created by Jonas Schmedtmann on the website Udemy, it focused on using modern versions of JavaScript, how the language works with other front end languages, ES6 / ES2015 , and extensions to the language.

I was a fan of this course, I learned a lot more about JavaScript language, but not just how to use it; the Instructor, Jonas, did a great job of using very simple visual aids to help give me a better understanding of why/how the language performs tasks and interacts with other languages and extensions of JavaScript.

I would honestly recommend this course to anyone trying to get better at JavaScript, I had a very vague familiarity with the language before this course and I’ve gotten better by leaps and bounds.  The one caveat to that recommendation is that I would also recommend having some familiarity with programming or general idea of concepts before you give this course a shot.

Below you can watch a quick overview of his course if you are interested in it or you want to get a better understanding of what I learned in the course.

Certificate of Completion:

Like most other courses on Udemy, upon completion of the course you are emailed a certificate that certifies you completed the coursework.  The image of a certificate adjacent to this text-box is, unsurprisingly, the one I received for completion of this course.
